About Me

I'm Lisa-Marie Venegas - a seeker and mound sitter, have endless spiritual and historical curiosity, and would rather walk a dirt trail over a paved road anytime.  My hobby for many years has been to explore different religious and spiritual practices from the present and the past, learn from the stories of those who came before us, and to explore churches, temples, cemeteries, old-growth forests and historical sites, taking lots of pictures along the way.   I'm sharing my journey in the hopes that you'll make day trips or travel plans to see them for yourselves.  I hope that a spiritual/historical travel guide like this will spark your curiosity about other cultures and have you daydreaming of times gone past.  I also want to revel in the beauty of Sacred spaces through architecture and art, as I know this is how many faiths connect with the divine. I always want to find more amazing places and welcome your suggestions!  Let's make this a safe forum for us to learn about these places together.
